'Hum Dono' one of the legend's black and white classic, 1960's has been colorized in the US and is in Cinema Scope with Dolby Digital Ex surround sound. Released Friday, all over India, 250 screens. Mumbai - 101 theatres and 45 - in Delhi.

The colored version of Dev Anand's 1961 classic "Hum Dono" has a good response average among the cine lovers and unique audience especially the middle aged people curious seeing a colorized pigment of the old gold classic Hum Dono starrer Dev Anand in cine field for more than 60 years but till his film going good in theaters, a wonder not heard.

Directed by Amarjeet and produced by the legend Dev Anand, "Hum Dono" was the last black and white film from Dev Anand's banner Navketan and he played a double role for the first time.

Hum Dono is all about two army men Mahesh and Anand ((both played by Dev Anand) who look alike and how it complicates their personal lives with war backdrop has Meeta (Sadhna) and Ruma (Nanda) in the leading roles.

When Major Verma is missing in action in Burma Campaign during World War II, believed dead during the battle, Mahesh is asked to convey this news to his family. Unable to break the news of Verma's death, Mahesh gets mistaken as Verma and is welcomed home which leads to complications in Mahesh's life.

Some of the iconic songs composed by Jaidev include "Main zindagi ka saath nibhata chala gaya" and "Abhi na jaao chhodkar".
